What can I earn points on?
Anything that you hire from Hirepool, so long as you keep your trade account current.
How do I earn points?
Points are earned for every dollar you spend with Hirepool and are based on your total, GST exclusive monthly total. Points can be accessed anytime via the My Rewards app. The more you spend with Hirepool the faster your points balance will build up. Remember, you must keep your account current to be eligible.
What can I get with my points?
There are thousands of rewards available in the Rewards Shop, from some of New Zealand’s leading suppliers. Starting at low points values, right through to those big-ticket items, we make it easy for you to get just what you want. If we don’t have the reward you are looking for, with Dream Rewards, you can get virtually* any reward you want.
How do I connect with a business offering points?
Call 0800 99 76278 to talk with the team and they will assist in connecting you with other participating businesses. It is important to remember that it is up to the participating supplier to include you in the programme.
How does my business get to participate?
Hirepool Rewards membership is by invitation only and is managed by exception. For more information on becoming a member, or to see if your business qualifies, please call the programme administrators, Smart Loyalty, on 0800 99 76278.
What happens if I don't pay my Hirepool account?
You must pay your Hirepool account on time every month in order to be eligible for your reward points to be issued.
What are Dream Rewards?
Our Dream Rewards feature enables you to request virtually* any reward you want. Simply call the rewards team and they’ll do all they can to deliver exactly what you’ve been dreaming of. Whether you want to use your points to pay for a holiday, a fishing trip, or a diamond ring, they’ll get it for you! *Terms and conditions apply.
What is Points + Pay?
If you don’t have enough points for a particular reward you can top up the difference with Points + Pay (Visa and Mastercard accepted).
Just call 0800 99 76278 or add the reward you’re after to your cart and you’ll be prompted at the checkout.
How do I check my points balance?
Your points balance will always show in the circle on the homepage of the My Rewards app.
How do I redeem my points for rewards?
You can choose from thousands of rewards from our Rewards Shop, or give us a call on 0800 99 76278. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, give us a call and we will find it for you!
Can I donate points to charity?
We are proud to support four New Zealand charities. You can donate points anytime to The Cancer Society of New Zealand, KidsCan, Ronald McDonald House, and the Mental Health Foundation.
Will my points expire?
Points risk expiry three years after the date they were issued. We will advise you of your points that risk expiry via your Hirepool Rewards email updates and redemption emails, so be sure to check your inbox.
What happens to my points if I cancel my membership?
You will be given 90 days to spend your points before your account is closed down.
